Charles City Remembers Diane Pearl Melrose, 88, in Memorial Service

Diane Pearl (Christensen) Melrose, aged 88, passed away on November 29, 2025, in Charles City. Her life will be celebrated during a memorial service scheduled for December 15, 2025, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, where Pastor Russ Leeper will officiate.

The memorial service will commence at 11 a.m., providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and pay their respects. Following the service, Diane Melrose will be inurned at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City, a final resting place for many in the community.

Prior to the memorial service, a gathering for family and friends will take place at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home, located at 1205 South Main Street, Charles City, Iowa. This event will be held on December 14, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will continue one hour before the service on the following day at the church.
