Iranian Commander’s Daughter Alleges Regime Violence Against Youth
The daughter of an Iranian commander has made alarming allegations about the actions of regime leaders, claiming they are turning against their own children. In an emotional interview with the Persian media outlet Manato TV on June 1, 2023, she revealed that her father has pressured her to commit violence against innocent civilians amid the ongoing crackdown on protests in the Islamic Republic.
Describing her father as a key player in the regime’s repressive actions, she stated, “They are killing their own children, suppressing them.” Her sentiments reflect the growing unrest and fear among those opposing the government’s brutal tactics. She has faced violence herself for her participation in anti-regime demonstrations and expressed concern for her safety after speaking out against her father’s actions.
“I have witnessed the crimes that my own father has committed,” she said, referring to him as one of the violent “elements of the repressive force.” Her raw emotions were evident as she declared, “I hate him. We do not want this.” She went further, suggesting that if circumstances allowed, she would be driven to harm him.
In her account, the daughter claimed that commanders are not just targeting civilians; they have allegedly instructed their own children to take part in the violence. “Giving them batons, electric batons, guns, to go and kill fellow citizens,” she revealed. This chilling assertion highlights the extent of the regime’s brutality as protests continue across the nation.
The daughter also described her father’s preparations for a potential escape, suggesting that many regime leaders are ready to flee the country. “My father has hidden suitcases filled with dollars in the house,” she claimed. “If anything happens, you know these will be the first ones who run away.” Her statements paint a picture of leaders more concerned with their own safety than the lives of their citizens.
Amid her fears, she vowed to expose the atrocities committed by her father and his fellow leaders. “I’ll tell you who these people are, what dirty deeds they did,” she stated, emphasizing the personal pain she has endured. She accused regime leaders of heinous acts, claiming they have even harmed their own families.
“I am very scared and stressed,” she concluded, encapsulating the fear that permeates the lives of many Iranians under the current regime. Her revelations underscore the complex and tragic realities faced by those living under a government that prioritizes power over the well-being of its citizens.
