Award-winning hospitality group INK Entertainment is set to make a splash in Las Vegas with a limited-time pop-up of its acclaimed Italian restaurant, Sofia. Scheduled to run from November 11 to 22, 2023, the pop-up will take place at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, coinciding with major events such as the KISS Kruise: Land-Locked fan weekend and the Big Race weekend.

This activation marks INK Entertainment’s return to Las Vegas, where it previously collaborated with Cirque du Soleil in the 2010s to launch Revolution Bar on the Las Vegas Strip. The Sofia pop-up promises an immersive experience featuring refined Italian cuisine, striking design, and cultural artistry, all tailored to the unique vibrancy of Las Vegas.

Signature Experience in a Dynamic Setting

Guests can expect a carefully curated dining experience at the pop-up, which will showcase Sofia’s celebrated dishes alongside special limited-edition offerings crafted exclusively for this Las Vegas engagement. The culinary direction will be led by Corporate Executive Chef Patrick Ochs and Sofia Miami Executive Chef Abel Vuelens, ensuring the menu reflects Sofia’s hallmark of modern Italian dining.

In addition to the culinary program, the space will feature an art program in collaboration with Taglialatella Galleries. Notable works by internationally recognized artist Russell Young will be displayed, enhancing the pop-up’s elegant atmosphere.

To complement the dining experience, the cocktail menu will be thoughtfully designed by Nishan Chandra, incorporating regionally inspired ingredients and showcasing a selection of rare Italian wines and vintage labels.

A Vision for Hospitality and Culture

“We are thrilled to bring Sofia to Las Vegas, marking a significant milestone for us as founders of INK Entertainment,” said Charles Khabouth, CEO and Founder of INK Entertainment. “This pop-up reflects our vision of blending cuisine, design, and culture in a way that resonates with the dynamic Las Vegas audience.”

Danny Soberano, President and Co-Founder, echoed this sentiment, expressing excitement about showcasing Sofia’s spirit within one of the world’s most vibrant culinary landscapes. The duo emphasized the meticulous planning behind every detail to create an unforgettable experience for guests.

The President of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Cliff Atkinson, also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the transformative year the hotel has experienced. He noted that the timing of the pop-up coincides perfectly with the upcoming events, positioning it as a standout feature of the resort’s offerings.

Founded in 1982, INK Entertainment is recognized for its innovative approach to hospitality, operating a portfolio of acclaimed venues across Canada and South Florida. This pop-up at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas represents a significant step in the group’s ongoing expansion into the U.S. market.

In addition to Sofia, INK Entertainment plans to grow its U.S. presence with new concepts in Miami and forthcoming venues in Las Olas and Boca Raton.

The Sofia pop-up will be located at 4455 Paradise Rd, just east of the Las Vegas Strip, and will be open daily for dinner from 17:00 to 23:00, except on November 17 and 18 when it will be closed. Reservations can be made starting October 14 through Seven Rooms.
