BOSTON, October 21, 2025 — Mapa Broker participated in the World Leaders Congress at Harvard University on October 9–10, where co-founder Erika Rodríguez presented the company’s innovative partnership with Copart. The collaboration aims to develop a new application that enhances access to the car auction market for the Hispanic community in the United States.

Transforming the Automotive Industry

Rodríguez delivered a compelling talk entitled “The Business of Second Chances: Car Auctions,” which offered insights into the automotive industry and the potential for reinvention. She drew parallels between vehicles sold at auction and the opportunity individuals have to start anew. “Just as cars have a second chance at auctions, people also have the power and the right to reinvent ourselves,” said Rodríguez, addressing an audience of influential business leaders and entrepreneurs from around the globe.

A highlight of the event was the announcement of Mapa Broker’s status as Copart’s first Latin partner. Copart, the largest car auction company in the United States, has joined forces with Mapa Broker to develop the Mapa App. This new app aims to empower Latino individuals by providing them with tools and resources to navigate the car auction process.

Features of the Mapa App

The prototype of the Mapa App was unveiled during Rodríguez’s presentation. It features an interactive landing page that allows users to explore its design and functionality. The first version of the app is set to launch in December 2025 and will incorporate artificial intelligence developed by Mapa to deliver real-time, Spanish-language information on vehicles listed on Copart. The app will also offer personalized assistance from Mapa representatives, ensuring that anyone, regardless of whether they are a dealer or hold a license, can participate in auctions.

The second version of the app, scheduled for release in May 2026, will introduce advanced features such as a cost calculator, a digital wallet, and the capability to place bids directly through the app. This comprehensive approach aims to provide a transparent and accessible experience for users.

Rodríguez emphasized the significance of Mapa’s presence at Harvard, stating, “Reaching the prestigious Harvard University with a project that was built from scratch—with dedication, purpose, and community—is living proof that dreams can’t be bought: they are built with effort, consistency, and faith.” This event marks not only a milestone for Mapa Broker but also reinforces its commitment to democratizing the car auction landscape and creating opportunities for the Latino community in the United States.

With this partnership and the forthcoming Mapa App, Mapa Broker continues to innovate within the automotive sector, prioritizing education and digital inclusion. The collaboration with Copart exemplifies the synergy of technology, community, and the idea of second chances, all aimed at fostering growth among Latinos.
