Three Inmates Charged in Shocking Murder of Aryan Brotherhood Member
BREAKING: A shocking murder inside Salinas Valley State Prison has led to the death of Aryan Brotherhood member Todd “Fox” Morgan, authorities announced Thursday morning. The 57-year-old inmate was killed around 10 a.m. using improvised weapons by three fellow inmates with alleged ties to organized crime, prompting immediate action from prison officials.
The suspects, identified as Todd Givens (56), Ray Waldron (51), and Robert England (61), have been moved to restrictive housing as the investigation unfolds. This incident raises serious concerns about prison safety and gang violence, as Morgan was known for his involvement in a large-scale drug ring that operated both inside and outside prison walls.
Morgan, serving multiple sentences including robbery and drug possession, was facing a 21-year federal prison sentence linked to drug trafficking charges and had been indicted in a 2020 case targeting the Aryan Brotherhood and other white supremacist gangs. Documents reveal he communicated with associates using contraband cellphones to coordinate drug operations, including an elaborate scheme where drugs were smuggled into the prison.
The violence in Salinas Valley is alarming. Givens, known as “Stomper,” is a suspected member of the Nazi Low Riders gang and has a violent history behind bars, including a past stabbing incident involving an Aryan Brotherhood hitman. Waldron, a suspected member of the Mongols Motorcycle Club, is serving time for a 2003 murder in San Diego. England, previously targeted for murder by the Aryan Brotherhood, was mentioned in court filings as a potential victim due to internal gang disputes.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the motive behind this brutal homicide. Morgan, who was set to go before a parole board in 2028, had a long history of violent encounters, including a 2000 incident where he assaulted a security guard at Santa Clara University. His criminal record includes convictions for robbery, burglary, and assault, making him a prominent figure in California’s prison gang landscape.
Since 2019, federal prosecutors have charged numerous Aryan Brotherhood members in Northern California with racketeering, leading to significant sentences for several gang leaders involved in prison crimes. This latest incident is a stark reminder of the ongoing violence and criminal activity that permeates California’s correctional facilities.
As the investigation continues, officials are urging prison staff and inmates to remain vigilant. The implications of this murder extend beyond the prison walls, impacting public safety and the ongoing battle against organized crime within the state.
Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story as authorities work to uncover the full details behind this tragic event.
