Ashton Thomas Wealth Sells Shares in Schwab Bond ETF, Other Firms Boost Holdings
Ashton Thomas Private Wealth LLC has reduced its stake in the Schwab U.S. Aggregate Bond ETF (NYSEARCA:SCHZ) by 1.6% during the second quarter of 2023. This decision, disclosed in a recent 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, leaves the firm with 242,913 shares following the sale of 3,882 shares during the quarter. The value of Ashton Thomas’s holdings amounts to approximately $5,645,000.
The changes in share ownership reflect broader trends among institutional investors. Several firms have recently made significant adjustments to their holdings in SCHZ. Additionally, JPMorgan Chase & Co. lifted its stake by 4.7%, now holding 12,267,223 shares valued at $284,109,000, following the acquisition of 546,711 shares.
Despite the changes in holdings, the Schwab U.S. Aggregate Bond ETF has seen a slight increase in its share price. As of Monday, SCHZ opened at $23.67. Over the past year, the ETF has reached a low of $22.43 and a high of $23.71. The ETF’s 50-day moving average stands at $23.44, with a 200-day moving average of $23.14.
