Jill Marie Lockwood, Beloved Nurse, Passes Away at 63
URGENT UPDATE: Jill Marie Lockwood, a beloved nurse and community figure, passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, humor, and strength.
Born and raised in Duluth, MN, Lockwood dedicated her life to caring for others, notably as a nurse at Liberalis, a women’s treatment facility. Her empathy and honest approach left a profound impact on the lives of her patients and colleagues alike.
Lockwood was a devoted mother to her children, Troy Lockwood (Leah), Brent Lockwood, and Amie Lockwood. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Clyde, Nathan, Niko, and Noah, who brought immense joy to her life. Her sister, Sue Raycraft (Tim), along with nieces and nephew, Ambyr Johnson (Brent), Stephanie Hagen (Severin), and Jake Lockwood, are also mourning her loss.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for November 16, 2025, coinciding with what would have been her 64th birthday. The gathering will take place at Grand View Grill and Bar (Drydock), located at 2820 Midway Rd, Duluth, MN 55810, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
