Scott Adams Urgently Seeks Trump’s Help for Life-Saving Cancer Drug
URGENT UPDATE: Cartoonist Scott Adams is appealing directly to President Donald Trump for immediate assistance with his health insurance provider, which has delayed scheduling a crucial cancer treatment. Adams announced on X that his application for Pluvicto, a newly FDA-approved drug for metastatic prostate cancer, was approved by Kaiser Permanente of Northern California, but the company has yet to schedule his IV infusion.
“I am declining fast,” Adams stated on social media, expressing the critical nature of his situation. He is now calling on Trump to intervene and expedite the scheduling for Monday, which he believes will give him a fighting chance in his battle against the disease.
In a rapidly developing response, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services, reached out to Adams within hours, indicating that the President wants to help. “How can I reach you?” Kennedy wrote on X, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. Trump himself responded with a simple yet powerful message on Truth Social: “On it!”
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino also assured Adams that action is being taken, stating, “There’s no need to wait until Monday. @realDonaldTrump, @RobertKennedyJr, and @DrOz are all tracking now, Scott.” This high-level support underscores the serious nature of Adams’ condition.
Earlier this year, Adams revealed his cancer diagnosis, explaining that he experiences daily pain and has relied on a walker for mobility. Prostate cancer impacts one in eight American men during their lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society, and is the second leading cause of cancer death among men, following lung cancer.
The urgency of this appeal highlights a growing concern for patients facing delays in treatment. With the clock ticking, Adams’ request for help is drawing attention not only to his personal struggle but also to the broader challenges many face in accessing vital medical care.
As this story develops, all eyes will be on the response from Kaiser Permanente and whether Adams will receive the timely treatment he desperately needs. The situation remains fluid, and updates are expected in the coming hours.
