Restaurants Offer Free Meals to Veterans on November 11
Across the United States, numerous restaurants are coming together to honor active-duty service members and veterans on November 11—Veterans Day—by offering free meals, discounts, and special promotions. This initiative aims to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by military personnel and their families.
Many well-known chains are participating in this nationwide effort. For instance, Applebee’s will provide a selection of free full-sized entrees to active-duty military, veterans, reserves, and National Guard members. Choices include a 6-ounce top sirloin, classic bacon cheeseburger, and chicken tenders platter. Additionally, diners will receive a $5 bounce back card for their next visit, valid for three weeks.
Another popular establishment, Chili’s, invites veterans and active military personnel to enjoy a complimentary entree, with options like the Oldtimer with cheese and fries or chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. The restaurant aims to create a welcoming environment for those who have served the country.
Golden Corral is also participating by offering a free buffet meal with a beverage from 4 p.m. to close on Veterans Day, catering to retirees, reservists, and active-duty military personnel. The restaurant emphasizes its commitment to honoring veterans through this annual tradition.
In addition to free meals, several chains are unveiling special deals. Blaze Pizza will provide a free one-topping pizza to veterans and active military members, while also donating $1 from every pizza sold that day to Folds of Honor, a nonprofit supporting military families’ education.
Among other notable offers, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen will treat veterans to a free appetizer or dessert, and Buffalo’s Cafe extends a 25% discount on meals. These offers highlight the restaurant industry’s effort to give back to those who have served.
Veterans can also find unique options at various eateries. For example, Eddie Merlot’s is providing a free Eddie’s Prime Cheeseburger with fries, while Hurricane Grill & Wings allows veterans to select from a menu that includes bone-in wings and chicken Caesar salad.
This Veterans Day, restaurant chains across the country are stepping up to recognize the dedication and service of military personnel. From complimentary meals to special discounts, these offers reflect a collective gratitude aimed at those who have selflessly served their nation.
Whether dining in or taking advantage of the deals, veterans and active-duty members can enjoy a day filled with appreciation and respect from the community. The array of offers available showcases the importance of supporting and celebrating the contributions of military members on this significant day.
