Summerlin Homes Emphasize Gathering Spaces for Families
As the holiday season unfolds, the significance of homes as gathering spaces for family and friends comes sharply into focus. In the Summerlin master-planned community, over 100 floor plans cater to diverse needs, with homes designed by some of the nation’s leading builders. These new properties often feature spacious, open-concept layouts, ideal for family gatherings and entertaining. According to Jenni Pevoto, senior director of master-planned community marketing for Summerlin, the community’s design is rooted in the values of family and togetherness. “Summerlin’s cadre of the nation’s top homebuilders are responding with an even greater emphasis on designing floor plans that remain flexible to accommodate all aspects of everyday life, while encouraging gathering with a vibe that is both inviting and friendly,” Pevoto stated.
Noteworthy Developments in Summerlin
Among the standout offerings is the Ascension by Pulte Homes in The Peaks village, featuring two collections of homes ranging from 3,475 square feet to 4,530 square feet. Each model showcases open-concept great rooms and outdoor patios, making them perfect for hosting gatherings. Prices for these homes start at approximately $1.7 million and can exceed $2.1 million.
Another notable development is Caldwell Park by KB Home, located in Grand Park village. This collection offers modern and contemporary single-family homes and townhomes, with sizes ranging from 1,430 square feet to 2,466 square feet. Homes in this collection are priced from the high $300,000s to the high $500,000s, featuring spacious great rooms that are ideal for parties.
The Carlisle by Tri Pointe Homes, also in Grand Park village, presents two unique collections—Carlisle Ridge and Carlisle Peak. These homes range from 3,234 square feet to 4,283 square feet, priced between $1.6 million and more than $1.7 million. Optional fireplaces enhance the inviting atmosphere for social gatherings.

Primrose Park by Richmond American Homes features open-concept floor plans designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living. The homes span from 2,410 square feet to 3,690 square feet and are priced from approximately $1.2 million. For buyers seeking townhome options, Cordillera by Toll Brothers presents three open-concept designs from 1,803 square feet to 2,154 square feet, priced from the high $500,000s to the mid $600,000s. A highlight of this community is the rooftop decks, which offer impressive views of the Las Vegas Valley.
At Sandpiper by Lennar, open-concept floor plans come with covered patios that enhance outdoor entertaining. These two-story homes range from 2,055 square feet to 2,405 square feet, priced from the $700,000s.
The Lark Hill community by Taylor Morrison offers a low-maintenance lifestyle with two-story townhomes ranging from 1,645 square feet to 2,163 square feet, priced from the mid $400,000s to mid $500,000s. Lastly, Vireo by Woodside Homes features versatile two- and three-story floor plans, offering private decks for a serene retreat.
Now entering its 35th year of development, Summerlin boasts more amenities than any other community in Southern Nevada.
