Chicago Partners Investment Group Increases Stake in Vanguard ETF
Chicago Partners Investment Group LLC has increased its position in the Vanguard Small-Cap ETF (NYSEARCA:VB) by 2.1% during the second quarter of 2023, as reported in its latest filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The firm now holds 151,140 shares after acquiring an additional 3,088 shares during the period. This investment makes the Vanguard ETF approximately 1.1% of Chicago Partners’ total portfolio, ranking as its 18th largest holding. At the end of the reporting period, the total value of Chicago Partners’ stake in the Vanguard Small-Cap ETF reached approximately $37.4 million.
Several other institutional investors have also adjusted their positions in the Vanguard Small-Cap ETF. Notably, Wit LLC dramatically increased its holdings by an astounding 254,243.2% in the first quarter, now owning 2,248,394 shares valued at around $498.6 million after purchasing an additional 2,247,510 shares. Similarly, Royal Bank of Canada raised its stake by 68.3% during the same quarter, holding 4,972,523 shares worth approximately $1.1 billion after buying an extra 2,018,325 shares.
Investment activity continued with Kingstone Capital Partners Texas LLC and CHURCHILL MANAGEMENT Corp, both acquiring new stakes in the Vanguard Small-Cap ETF during the second quarter. Kingstone invested about $312.3 million, while CHURCHILL MANAGEMENT added approximately $224.2 million to its holdings. Auto Owners Insurance Co also made headlines by increasing its stake by 2,616.7% in the first quarter, growing its ownership to 912,750 shares valued at around $202.4 million.
