Gleb Savchenko Predicts Mirrorball Trophy Winner Ahead of Finale
As the season finale of Dancing with the Stars airs tonight, professional dancer Gleb Savchenko has shared his thoughts on who he believes will clinch the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. Savchenko, who was eliminated earlier in the season while partnered with Hilaria Baldwin, expressed his admiration for several contestants during a recent interview.
In his remarks, Savchenko emphasized the competitive nature of this year’s season, stating, “This year’s competition is really tough. I think we definitely have a few front runners.” He highlighted the performances of Robert Irwin and Alix Earle, both of whom have consistently impressed viewers and judges alike. “I also feel like Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa are killing it – every week they’re amazing,” he added.
Savchenko specifically praised Sosa’s choreography, noting that it is remarkable given that it is the latter’s second season as a professional dancer. “Ezra, I have to give it to him, he’s crushing it with the choreo and everything,” Savchenko said. He further elaborated, “As a pro, that’s what we should do: step away and highlight the celebrity, which is what he’s doing very well with Jordan.” He expressed a desire to see the duo succeed, saying, “She’s obviously extremely talented, a great dancer and girl. I would love for them to win; it would be cool.”
Savchenko’s comments come amid growing excitement about potential surprises in tonight’s finale. Sosa, during a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, hinted at unexpected appearances, mentioning a “big surprise” that will leave audiences thrilled. “As a gay man, you will be gagged. And every other version of what, whoever you are… you will also be gagged,” he teased.
Rumors are circulating that former contestant Normani may make a special appearance during the finale. Comments on social media speculated about her involvement, with fans eagerly anticipating her return. Sosa’s interaction on TikTok, where he mentioned Normani’s “smirk” and teased her inclusion in their performance, has further fueled these expectations.
As excitement builds for the finale airing on March 25, 2024, viewers are on the edge of their seats, eager to see who will ultimately take home the Mirrorball Trophy. With strong contenders and the possibility of surprise guest appearances, the event promises to be a memorable conclusion to this season of Dancing with the Stars.
