Hasbro Revives Marvel Legends Figures: Cable, Kingpin, and Nimrod
Hasbro has announced the reissue of several Marvel Legends figures, much to the delight of collectors. The highly sought-after X-Men-inspired Cable figure from the Zabu Build-a-Figure wave, originally launched in early 2024, is now available for pre-order. Additionally, the Spider-Man Retro Kingpin figure is making a return, marking its third release following a reissue last year.
Pre-Orders Now Open
Collectors can place their pre-orders for both figures at Entertainment Earth, where they are being offered as Fan Channel exclusives. Given the popularity of these items, it is expected that they will sell out quickly. The Cable and Kingpin figures join the newly announced Deluxe X-Men Nimrod figure, which will also be available for pre-order at the same time, set to launch at 13:00 ET on November 5, 2024.
For those looking to complete the Zabu Build-a-Figure wave, many of the other figures are still available on Amazon, often at or below original retail prices. Notably, these figures are being sold through third-party vendors, including:
- Marvel Legends Series Superior Iron Man
- Marvel Legends Series Black Winter (Thor)
- Marvel Legends Series Wolfsbane
- Marvel Legends Series Ka-Zar
- Marvel Legends Series Red Widow
- Marvel Legends Series Ikaris
Recent Additions to the Lineup
In addition to the upcoming reissues, Hasbro recently launched a new collection of Retro Spider-Man figures featuring characters such as Spider-Man 2099, Cardiac, Hypno-Hustler, Marvel’s Owl, Uncanny Spider-Man (Nightcrawler), and Spider-Venom. Pre-orders for these figures remain open on Amazon as of this writing, offering fans a chance to expand their collections with these nostalgic additions.
The steady stream of reissued and newly released figures highlights Hasbro’s commitment to meeting collector demand while celebrating the rich history of Marvel Comics. As the market for action figures continues to thrive, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating what Hasbro will unveil next in the ever-expanding Marvel Legends lineup.
