Taylor Swift’s album, The Life of a Showgirl, continues its impressive reign at the top of the Billboard 200, marking its fifth consecutive week at No. 1 as of the chart dated November 15, 2025. The album garnered 120,000 equivalent album units in the week ending November 6, although this represents an 18% decline from the previous week, according to data from Luminate.

This achievement positions The Life of a Showgirl as only the second album in 2025 to maintain five weeks at No. 1, following Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which spent its first eight weeks at the top of the chart. Swift’s previous release, The Tortured Poets Department, dominated the chart for its first 12 weeks in 2024, totaling 17 weeks at No. 1 overall. Notably, three of her albums have led for five weeks or more, starting with Folklore, which enjoyed six weeks at No. 1 in 2020.

Chart Highlights and Trends

The latest chart also features Florence + the Machine, whose album Everybody Scream debuts at No. 4, marking their fifth top 10 effort. Meanwhile, Tyler, The Creator‘s CHROMAKOPIA, which was a former No. 1, leaps from 117 to 5 following its one-year anniversary reissue.

In terms of unit breakdowns, The Life of a Showgirl achieved 98,000 in streaming equivalent albums (SEA), accounting for 129.07 million official streams of its tracks, maintaining its position as the top streaming album for a fifth week. Album sales contributed 18,000 units, while track equivalent albums (TEA) made up 4,000 units.

At the top of the chart, the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack remains at No. 2, earning 84,000 equivalent album units, while Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem holds steady at No. 3 with 77,000 units sold.

Impact of New Releases

“The album’s first-week sales were aided by its availability across six vinyl variants and four CD variants, including special editions,”

a representative noted. Everybody Scream earned a total of 56,000 equivalent album units during its debut week, with album sales making up 44,000 of that total. The lead single from the album has charted in the top 10 on both the Alternative Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts.

Meanwhile, Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA saw a remarkable surge in sales, climbing 390% to reach 51,000 equivalent album units. This increase can be attributed to its reissue on multiple formats, including CD, vinyl, and deluxe boxed sets.

As the Billboard 200 chart continues to reflect shifting musical tastes and consumer behavior, it remains a vital indicator of trends within the music industry. The data is compiled by Luminate, which conducts thorough reviews to validate the authenticity of submissions before finalizing the weekly rankings.
