Yungblud Cancels Remaining 2025 Tour Dates on Doctor’s Orders
Yungblud has announced the cancellation of the remainder of his 2025 tour following medical advice. The British musician, known for his energetic performances, revealed on his Instagram story that a recent health assessment prompted doctors to recommend he take a break from touring.
This decision comes after a demanding year of performances, which Yungblud described as “unbelievable.” Upon returning home and undergoing routine tests, he learned that his voice and blood results raised concerns. “My doctors have ordered me to take a break from touring until the end of the year,” he stated.
Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, expressed his frustration at having to cancel shows, especially considering his dedication to his fans. “It is my nature to run and run until I run myself into the ground without giving a f**k about anything apart from the music and you guys,” he noted. Acknowledging the severity of his health scare, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing his well-being moving forward.
Impact on Fans and Future Performances
The cancellation affects several major cities, including Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, and Mexico City, where fans were eagerly awaiting his shows. Yungblud reassured his audience that he views this decision as a necessary long-term investment in his health and career. “I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself,” he explained.
While some fans may be disappointed, Yungblud is committed to making amends. He stated, “I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.” Current plans include refunding all tickets purchased for US shows and offering a special gift to fans who sign up on a designated link.
“I never take anyone’s love, support, or energy for granted,” he said. “You know you are everything to me. But I need this time.”
Despite the cancellation, Yungblud is optimistic about his future performances. He indicated that he is already exploring options for rescheduled shows in Mexico and Latin America, with a focus on making them more affordable. “It’s gonna be unbelievable. I can’t wait,” he concluded.
As fans await updates on rescheduled dates and new shows, Yungblud’s decision highlights the importance of health and well-being in the demanding world of live music.
