Blue Mountain High School has recognized its outstanding students for November 2025, highlighting their academic achievements and extracurricular involvement. This month’s honorees are Vince DiSante, Aniera Perry, and Eric Smith, each excelling in their respective fields while contributing to their school community.

Vince DiSante: A Multifaceted Leader

Vince DiSante, a resident of Orwigsburg and the son of Jennifer and Walter DiSante, stands out as an Advanced Placement student. His extensive involvement in various activities includes basketball, soccer, and several academic clubs such as Physics Club and National English Honor Society. Vince also serves as the captain of the tennis team and is the president of the Student Council.

Vince plans to further his education at the University of Tennessee, where he intends to major in finance. His leadership roles and commitment to academics make him a notable figure at Blue Mountain High School.

Aniera Perry: A Rising Star in Leadership

Another distinguished student, Aniera Perry, also from Orwigsburg, is the daughter of Jean and William Suggs. As a college preparatory student, Aniera is actively engaged in track and field, Future Business Leaders of America, and several clubs including the French Club and Diversity Club.

Her leadership skills are evident as she holds the positions of Minithon president and Varsity Cheer Captain. Aniera aspires to attend Bloomsburg University to major in medical imaging, demonstrating her commitment to both academics and community involvement.

Eric Smith: Technology and Mentorship

Eric Smith, hailing from Schuylkill Haven, is the son of Natalie and Guy Smith. He attends Blue Mountain High School and the Schuylkill Technology Center, where he is enrolled in the Computer Information Systems program. Eric’s participation in Skills USA and recreational basketball showcases his well-rounded interests.

In a significant role, Eric has been appointed as a student ambassador at STC South Campus, where he serves as a mentor to his peers. He plans to pursue a degree in information assurance and cybersecurity at Penn College of Technology, indicating his dedication to advancing in the technology sector.

The achievements of these three students illustrate the diverse talents and ambitions of the Blue Mountain High School community. Their commitment to academics, leadership, and extracurricular activities exemplifies the potential of the next generation.
