Galloway Hosts Free Women’s Self-Defense Seminar This Fall
The Galloway Township Police Department is set to offer a free Women’s Self-Defense Seminar, responding to numerous community requests. This event will take place in November and is aimed at empowering women aged 18 and older who live, work, or attend school in Galloway Township.
According to a recent post on the Galloway Township Police Department’s Facebook page, the seminar will last for 90 minutes and will be a hands-on experience, rather than a traditional lecture format. Participants can expect to learn practical self-defense techniques in a supportive environment, ensuring that no prior experience is necessary.
Empowerment Through Practical Skills
The seminar will feature instructors from Tap House Jiu Jitsu, who will guide attendees through real-world self-defense techniques. The focus is on building confidence and enhancing awareness, equipping participants with skills that could prove invaluable in various situations.
Dress comfortably in athletic or athleisure wear, and prepare for an engaging class that promises to leave participants feeling stronger, safer, and empowered. This initiative not only aims to teach self-defense but also fosters community connections among attendees.
Registration Details and Contact Information
Space for the seminar is limited, and spots are expected to fill quickly. Interested participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible. For registration, individuals can visit the provided link on the Galloway Township Police Department’s social media platforms.
For further questions or additional information, participants can reach out to Tap House Jiu Jitsu at [email protected] or contact Captain Mark D’Esposito of the Galloway Township Police Department at [email protected].
This seminar presents a valuable opportunity for women in the Galloway area to take a proactive step toward personal safety and empowerment. Do not miss this chance to enhance your self-defense skills and connect with your community.
