Livingston County Opens Nominations for 2026 Teen Recognition Awards
The Livingston County Youth Bureau has announced the opening of nominations for the 2026 Livingston County Teen Recognition Awards. This initiative seeks to honor young individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and contributions within the community.
Nominations are currently being accepted until March 31, 2026. The awards are designed to recognize teens aged 13 to 19 who have made significant impacts, whether through volunteer work, leadership roles, or other noteworthy endeavors.
Eligibility and Nomination Process
To be eligible for the awards, nominees must reside in Livingston County. The Youth Bureau encourages community members to submit nominations that highlight the accomplishments of local teens. Nominators should provide detailed descriptions of the nominees’ contributions, emphasizing the positive effects on their peers and the community.
The nomination forms can be accessed through the Livingston County Youth Bureau’s official website. Once completed, submissions can be sent via email or delivered in person to the Youth Bureau’s office located in Geneseo.
Recognition Ceremony
Winners will be celebrated during a special ceremony scheduled for June 15, 2026. The event aims not only to honor the achievements of the selected teens but also to inspire others within the community to engage in meaningful activities.
Local leaders and community members are invited to attend the ceremony, which will feature various activities and opportunities to recognize the contributions of the youth.
