Siam Station Expands with New Thai Eatery in Milpitas
Siam Station, a popular Thai restaurant chain known for its casual street food offerings, is preparing to open a new location in Milpitas, California. The restaurant will occupy the space formerly held by Phoenix Pot, located at 210 Barber Court in the Milpitas Square Shopping Center. This marks the establishment’s eighth location in California, reflecting its ongoing expansion across the state.
While a specific opening date has yet to be disclosed, the new restaurant will feature a menu rich with Thai classics. Diners can anticipate enjoying favorites such as pad see ew, various curries, noodles, and seafood dishes. The Milpitas menu will align closely with that of Siam Station’s existing locations, ensuring a consistent experience for customers.
Menu Highlights and Dining Experience
Siam Station’s menu offers an extensive array of options, appealing to diverse palates. Appetizers include favorites like chicken satay and fried tofu, while salads such as papaya pok pok and larb chicken provide refreshing starters. Noodle and rice dishes, including pad thai and pineapple fried rice, round out the offerings, along with traditional Thai boat noodles.
The restaurant also features a variety of curries and soups, complemented by a selection of à la carte dishes. For dessert, customers can indulge in options like mango sticky rice and enjoy beverages such as authentic Thai tea.
Siam Station’s concept revolves around authentic Thai flavors delivered in a relaxed and approachable environment. The restaurant prioritizes fresh ingredients, bold seasonings, and traditional cooking techniques, creating a comfortable space for both dine-in and takeout customers.
Strategic Location and Community Impact
The new Milpitas location is well-positioned to attract both residents and workers in the area, especially following the closure of Phoenix Pot. The accessible location aligns with Siam Station’s mission to introduce its Thai street food concept to new communities, enhancing the local dining landscape.
With successful establishments already operating in cities such as Irvine, Newport Beach, and Cerritos, the Milpitas branch represents a significant step in the restaurant’s growth strategy. By bringing its unique culinary offerings to a new market, Siam Station aims to foster a deeper appreciation for Thai cuisine while making it more accessible to a broader audience.
As the opening date approaches, anticipation builds for what promises to be a vibrant addition to Milpitas’s dining scene, continuing Siam Station’s legacy of making authentic Thai street food available to more communities throughout California.
