Jay Seawell, the head coach, emphasized the importance of character in his recruits, saying, “When building a championship program, you need to obviously recruit talented young men, but you also have to find guys that have the character to be a great teammate.”
The soccer team welcomed three new players: Chelsea Rogers from San Jose, California, Zamorah Malinoski from Long Beach, California, and Jurnee Vrobel from Kearneysville, West Virginia. Head coach Wes Hart noted the immediate impact these athletes are expected to have, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Chelsea, Zamorah and Jurnee to the Alabama soccer family.”
