Born on February 26, 1936, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Clyde and Jennie (Travis) Woodard. For many years, she worked at Travelers Insurance Company, where she met her husband, the late William R. Seim. Her family described her as someone who “lived for her family,” and she was known for her vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor.

Charlotte was a familiar face in the Baptist community, where she often walked the halls, engaging with residents and participating in various crafts and activities. Her love for walking extended beyond the community, as she enjoyed shopping and attending craft fairs.

She is survived by her children: Donna (Ronald) Healt, William (Debra) Eggleston III, Richard (Cheryl) Eggleston, Michael (Rose) Eggleston, and Guy (Susan Jacobson) Eggleston; alongside eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband, William Eggleston Jr., and her grandson, Ryan Healt, as well as her four sisters and one brother.

The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Baptist Health and Community Hospice, particularly Brittany and her team, for their exceptional care during Charlotte’s final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to be made in Charlotte’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Foundation by visiting www.alzfdn.org/donate.
