Cherry Hill Man, 62, Arrested for Attempted Child Luring

The arrest occurred on October 27, 2023, when Lasman believed he was chatting with a 14-year-old boy through an app. In reality, the conversation was with an undercover detective, who was conducting a sting operation aimed at preventing child luring. Officials state that during their exchange, Lasman arranged to meet the boy at the Cooper River Dog Park in Cherry Hill for sexual purposes.

Authorities confirm that Lasman was taken into custody at the park later that same day. He has been charged with second-degree attempted child luring and second-degree attempted sexual assault. Following his arrest, he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
