High School Flag Football Playoffs: Stunning Upsets Rock First Round
UPDATE: The high school flag football playoffs are heating up as several shocking upsets unfolded in the City Section’s first round on Wednesday. Notably, #16 Venice stunned top-seeded Jefferson with a dramatic 20-13 victory, highlighting the unpredictable nature of this year’s tournament.
In other thrilling matchups, #8 Carson triumphed over LA Roosevelt with a decisive score of 20-7. #5 Franklin dominated Granada Hills Kennedy, shutting them out with a score of 12-0. Meanwhile, Sylmar pulled off another upset by defeating #4 Legacy 20-6.
