Orlando High School Sports Results: Key Wins and Performers from Nov. 29
UPDATE: High school sports teams across the Orlando area delivered exciting performances on Saturday, Nov. 29, with significant wins in boys and girls basketball. Teams showcased their skills in multiple tournaments, with results that are sure to impact upcoming matchups.
In the CENTRAL FLORIDA VS. SOUTH FLORIDA CLASSIC at Edgewater High School, the action was fierce. Norland triumphed over Jones with a score of 57-43, while Oak Ridge dominated Martin County at 80-49. Edgewater secured a solid victory against Coral Springs, winning 62-44.
Other notable results include Stranahan edging out Evans at 60-54, and Bartow narrowly defeating Stranahan 70-65 on Tuesday. In a thrilling game, Edgewater outperformed Martin County with a score of 74-63.
Meanwhile, the SUN BASH ORLANDO at Central Florida Christian Academy saw Lake Howell pull off a close win against South Lake, finishing 63-53. Eustis also triumphed over Evangelical Christian with a score of 64-54.
In the EARL GRAHAM MEMORIAL METRO VS. FLORIDA CHALLENGE at Lake Highland Prep, Horizon took down Orangewood Christian, winning 69-61. Lake Nona showcased their strength with a decisive win against Lake Wales, scoring 71-39.
The FLORIDA GET DOWN HOLIDAY SHOWCASE featured a remarkable performance from Timber Creek, defeating Florida State University School 63-50. Notably, Suncoast overwhelmed Luella (Ga.) with a score of 59-27.
In girls basketball, the SILVERHAWK CLASSIC at Lake Howell High School produced impressive scores. Seminole triumphed over Lake Brantley with a close score of 61-57, while Cypress Creek defeated Lake Nona 68-33 on Tuesday.
Upcoming Games: Fans should keep an eye on the next matches, including Apopka taking on Mount Dora in a highly anticipated girls game at 12:15 PM today, and Evans facing Viera later in the day.
