The race kicked off at the Diag on the University of Michigan campus at 6:00 AM and concluded around noon at Demonstration Hall, Michigan State University. This year marks the 12th consecutive year of this cherished tradition, drawing attention not only for its athleticism but also for its emotional significance as it honors the spirit of unity and remembrance.

Since its inception in 2014, “Alex’s Great State Race” has raised over $170,000 to support students with disabilities, highlighting the ROTC cadets’ commitment to service both on and off the field.
