Stefon Diggs Launches Defamation Lawsuit Against Influencer
BREAKING: NFL star Stefon Diggs has filed a defamation lawsuit against social media influencer Christopher Blake Griffith, who accused him of drugging, sexually assaulting, and conspiring to kill him. The lawsuit was officially filed on October 1, 2023, in response to what Diggs claims are “pure fiction” allegations made by Griffith stemming from an incident at Diggs’ home in Rockville, Maryland in May 2023.
The accusations surfaced more than two years after a mundane night following a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C., where Diggs, Griffith, and other influencers went to a local club. Diggs insists that after the event, he went to his bedroom while his assistant asked Griffith to leave, describing a typical evening without any wrongdoing.
However, in the summer of 2025, Griffith began disseminating sensational claims on social media, alleging that Diggs had drugged and assaulted him, and conspired to keep his “gay/bisexual secrets” from being exposed. These inflammatory statements were not only made to Griffith’s vast following but also tagged the New England Patriots, the NFL, and even Uggs, the brand with which Diggs has a sponsorship deal.
Diggs, now facing reputational damage due to these false claims, has taken action in court. According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports, he accuses Griffith of knowingly spreading lies for personal gain and online notoriety.
In a statement from Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz, he indicated that Griffith looks forward to proving his side of the story in court, claiming he is the true victim of unwanted sexual advances and violent attacks from Diggs and his associates.
Diggs is seeking unspecified damages and attorney’s fees, asserting that the false allegations have significantly harmed his reputation. As this case develops, all eyes will be on the courtroom where both parties will present their arguments.
Stay tuned for updates on this urgent legal battle that is shaking the sports and social media worlds. The stakes are high as Diggs aims to clear his name while Griffith prepares to defend his claims.
