Three Teens Killed, One Critical in Bucks County Crash
UPDATE: Tragedy struck in Bucks County, Pennsylvania Friday night as three teenagers were killed and another remains in critical condition following a severe car crash. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Bristol Road, near the former Fox Subacute care center, according to the Warrington Township Police Department.
Authorities report that a 15-year-old driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of his vehicle and swerved directly into the path of a Ford Explorer. The impact was devastating, resulting in the deaths of the driver and his two passengers—a 16-year-old boy and 18-year-old Aziz Umidovich Amonov of Feasterville/Trevose. Tragically, a 14-year-old boy from the same vehicle is currently in critical condition at a hospital in Philadelphia.
Witnesses say the Toyota was traveling east when the driver lost control, leading to the catastrophic collision. Fortunately, the driver of the Ford Explorer escaped without injury. The identities of the other victims have not been released, but it has been confirmed that one was a senior at Neshaminy High School, while another was a freshman.
The police have launched an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event, and they are expected to provide more details as they become available.
“The Warrington Township Police Department extends its deepest sympathies to the families, friends, and school communities affected by this tragic event,” the department stated in a press release.
This heartbreaking incident raises concerns about teen driving safety in the region. As investigations continue, many in the community are left to grapple with the loss of young lives and the impact on their families and friends.
