BREAKING: A 74-year-old man is in critical condition following a shooting during an argument in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, just before 4:15 PM, on the 3000-block of South Trumbull Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

Authorities report that the victim was engaged in a heated argument when an unknown assailant produced a firearm and opened fire. The man sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was immediately transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital for urgent medical care.

As of now, no suspects have been apprehended. Area Four detectives are actively investigating the shooting and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
