UPDATE: A devastating house fire erupted in Cincinnati’s Pleasant Ridge neighborhood last night, displacing a family and resulting in the tragic death of one of their pet cats. The fire, which ignited on Troy Avenue, was reported to the Cincinnati Fire Department (CFD) at 5:02 p.m. and quickly escalated.

Firefighters responded rapidly, with approximately 40 personnel battling the blaze for around 15 minutes to bring it under control. Despite their efforts, the flames predominantly consumed the first floor of the home, leaving behind a staggering estimated damage of $200,000.
