Veterans Day 2023: 40 Restaurants Offering Free Meals NOW
UPDATE: As Veterans Day approaches on November 11, 2023, restaurants across the United States are stepping up to honor active-duty service members and veterans by offering free meals, discounts, and special promotions. This urgent initiative is designed to express gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who serve.
Among the notable establishments, Applebee’s is leading the way by providing a complimentary full-sized entrée to military personnel, including veterans and active-duty members. Choices include the 6-ounce top sirloin and chicken tenders platter. Additionally, diners will receive a $5 bounce back card for future visits, valid for three weeks.
Another favorite, Blaze Pizza, is giving away free one-topping pizzas to veterans and active military personnel, while also donating $1 from every pizza sold on Veterans Day to Folds of Honor, an organization that supports the educational needs of military families.
Chili’s is also joining the effort, offering veterans and active military personnel a complimentary entrée from a select menu that includes popular items like the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas and three-count chicken crispers. This special offer is available for dine-in only.
In addition, Golden Corral will open its doors from 4 p.m. to close, welcoming all military personnel with a free buffet meal and beverage, ensuring that no veteran goes hungry on this important day.
Other participating restaurants include Freddy’s, which is offering a free combo meal redeemable until December 31, and Hard Rock Cafe, serving up a free classic smash burger for all active and retired military members.
Each participating restaurant has unique offerings, making it easy for veterans to find a location that suits their taste. From 25% off meals at Buffalo’s Cafe to complimentary breakfast combos at Wendy’s, there are plenty of options available.
This year’s Veterans Day is not only about the meals; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices made by millions. The widespread participation from these restaurants showcases a collective appreciation for service members, creating a sense of community and support.
For those looking to take advantage of these generous offers, veterans should carry valid military identification to redeem their free meals and discounts.
As the date approaches, families and friends are encouraged to share this information widely to ensure that every veteran can benefit from these heartfelt gestures.
What’s next? Mark your calendars for November 11, and prepare to celebrate the bravery and service of our military personnel. With so many restaurants joining in, this Veterans Day is set to be a memorable occasion filled with gratitude and community spirit.
