Ghetts, the British rapper known for his role in the Netflix series Supacell, has appeared in a London court following a fatal hit-and-run incident. The rapper, whose real name is Justin Clarke-Samuel, faces charges of causing death by dangerous driving after allegedly striking Yubin Tamang, a 20-year-old, in east London on October 18, 2023.
During the court proceedings on Monday, Ghetts confirmed his name, date of birth, and address. Following this, he was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey, London’s primary criminal court, on November 24. The circumstances surrounding the incident suggest that Ghetts did not stop his vehicle after the collision.
